For example, the song Silent Night was written by a gentleman in Austria who was to prepare for a performance the next morning, only to find the organ was broken, so he changed the lyrics and the music to allow it to be played on the guitar. The next day the choir sang the song that was enjoyed by all and since the then the song has been sung worldwide in all languages. The internet does not always provide all that information. Other sources for lyrics to Christmas songs can be found at a music store, or a bookstore downtown. The best time to search for the lyrics to Christmas songs is during the Christmas season, as there will be a greater selection of Christmas songs and music available.
The most common time that you will find yourself looking for lyrics to Christmas songs is during the Christmas holiday. Maybe the lyrics could be for a carolling night when you plan to sing to your neighbours, or maybe you need to teach your children those famous songs you grew up singing but you cannot remember the exact words and need to refresh your memory.
